John Dragonetti’s ‘The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez’ nominated for two Critic’s Choice awards – Best Crime/Justice Series and Best Limited Documentary Series

‘The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez,’ scored by John Dragonetti, has been nominated for Best Crime/Justice Series and Best Limited Documentary Series by the Critics Choice Association (CCA) and nonfiction producers’ organization, NPACT.

The six-part documentary series centers on the story of Gabriel Fernandez, an eight-year old boy who died after being abused by his mother and her boyfriend in 2013. TIME magazine describes the series as providing a “thorough and heartbreaking examination of the systemic forces that allow child abuse to flourish undetected in the United States.”

‘The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez’ is now available to stream on Netflix.
