Justin Melland scored director Marina Zenovich’s film, ‘Water & Power: A California Heist,’ a documentary about California’s convoluted water system, where notorious water barons find ways to structure a state-engineered system to their own advantage. This examination into their centers of power shows small farmers and everyday citizens facing drought and a new, debilitating groundwater crisis.
Justin’s past work includes scoring another 2017 Sundance documentary, ‘The Force,’ as well as the Oscar-nominated Netflix documentary short, ‘Extremis,’ and also currently scores Showtime’s ‘Dark Net’.
