Cliff Martinez scores the Cinemax series ‘The Knick‘, directed by Steven Soderbergh. The show takes A look at the professional and personal lives of the staff at New York’s Knickerbocker Hospital during the early part of the twentieth century. ‘The Knick’ is returning for Season 2 on October 16th at 10:00pm ET.
Cliff has worked with Soderbergh in the past on ‘Solaris’, ‘Contagion’, and ‘Traffic’. He has also worked on Nicolas Winding Refn’s ‘Drive’ and ‘Only God Forgives’, Harmony Korine’s ‘Spring Breakers’ (co-composed with Skrillex), and Nicolas Jarecki’s ‘Arbitrage’.
