Cris Velasco will be creating the soundtrack for the digital version of Clive Barker’s\u00a0\u201cBooks of Blood\u201d series, originally published as six separate books in the mid-\u201980s, inspired Stephen King to tout Barker as the \u201cfuture of horror,\u201d and launched the author\u2019s and filmmaker\u2019s illustrious career.<\/p>\n
Best known for scoring video games such as \u201cDarksiders,\u201d \u201cGod of War\u201d and \u201cMass Effect,\u201d Velasco is no stranger to creating the eerie, haunting tones needed to accompany a Barker work, as he provided the soundtrack for the Barker-penned video game \u201cJericho,\u201d released in 2007.<\/p>\n
