Steven Argila scores YouTube Red’s upcoming series ‘Wayne,’ an action comedy created by Shawn Simmons with Executive Producers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, writers of ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Deadpool 2.’ Described as gritty and sometimes bloody, the series follows 15-year-old Wayne and his crush Del as they set out on a dirt bike to take back the 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died. The 10-episode series stars Mark McKenna (‘Sing Street’) and Ciara Bravo (‘Big Time Rush’).
‘Wayne’ will premiere on YouTube Red later this year.
