Mark Adler (‘Food Inc’) has scored ‘Merchants of Doubt’, directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner, for which he has won the HMMA Award for Best Feature Documentary Score. It is based on the 2010 book of the same name, by Naomi Oreskes and Erik M. Conway,and looks at pundits-for-hire who present themselves as scientific authorities as they speak about topics like toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals and climate change. It is an Official Selection for the Telluride, Toronto and New York Film Festivals and is playing now in select cities.
